This was one of the biggest projects we have taken on. We were advised that a single lady wanted to become a foster mom. However, she did not qualify until she had a seperate bedroom and bath for the kids. Working alongside a general contractor, and with the generous donations of a benefactor, we were able to assist in making her unfinished basement the living area for her future foster children. The project included running new plumbing for the bathroom, upgrading the electrical to accommodate a bathroom and bedroom, framing, drywall and texture along with tile flooring and carpet. We also added some shelving for some much needed storage.
