About Local 3:16 SLC
Local 3:16 is a faith based group of skilled craftsmen utilizing their skills in varied construction trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cabinetry, drywall, etc.) to provide no cost assistance (labor and materials) to individuals and families, living within the Greater Salt Lake Valley, who do not possess either the physical or financial capabilities to perform needed improvements to their homes. The primary focus groups for Local 3:16 activities will be single parents, widows, widowers, refugees, handicapped, and unemployed. We are a Handyman service that does Saturday projects, not contractors.
During the construction process Local 3:16 intends to impart some of the basic skills required to perform minor construction by having these individuals work alongside the skilled volunteers when possible. Local 3:16 believes that improving the life and self-esteem of those we assist is as important as the improvements we will perform to the building and living conditions. Local 3:16 believes it is paramount to call others up to be more than they believed they could be.

We do our best to provide services, which depends on the availability of our team. *Due to insurance requirements and restrictions, we are UNABLE to do any roofing repairs.

Service Panels, Power Breaker Panels, Circuit Repairs, Lighting, Circuit Wiring, Power Outlets...
Plumbing
Pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, fixtures, PVC/CPVC/PEX, cast iron, copper
Carpentry
Framing, rafters, partitions, joists, cabinets, fixtures, shelving, window framing...
Cabinetry
Furniture fitting, kitchen cabinetry, bathroom cabinetry, garage cabinetry...
Drywall
Cut and hang wallboard/drywall. Hang ceiling tiles and create suspended ceilings.
Fencing
Set up and build fences around properties. Repair and update fences.

Local 316 has their fingerprint all over Big Canyon.
