The Pregnancy Resource Center of Salt Lake City was recently blessed with a grant to help renovate the Salt Lake Office. New carpeting and painting were the first order of business. Installation dates coincided with our annual Banquet for Life. To say we were a bit stressed is an understatement. However, as in past projects for us, the LORD and Local 316 came through. Emails went out and many people from several different churches lent us a hand moving the entire office: Filing cabinets, cubicle desks, copiers, couches, and many rooms full of furniture.

The tear down, moving, painting and replacement took place over several evenings and a weekend. Each team had just the right amount of people with just the right skills and tools. And they gave joyously of their time. Our community is truly blessed to have such an organization standing ready, willing, and able to assist those in need with light construction and painting projects, among others. They serve churches, non-profits, the elderly, and the poor.

Local 316 act as the hands and feet of the Body of Christ in Salt Lake. I highly recommend them! All of us at the PRC are very thankful indeed as we could not have accomplished this project on our own. Well done!
